When I’m back from LA, Street Corner will finally start recording our album. We’re going to record here in Nashville. I’ll try to post some video of our progress. I’m really freaking excited about this!!! We’re hoping to have it the album signed sealed and delivered by September. That’s a lofty goal, but we work good under pressure.
This Fall I’ll be on tour with Ten Out Of Tenn ( www.10outoftenn.com ) Street Corner, and I’ll also be doing some solo touring in November. I’ll be all over the map, so I hope to see some of you.
Okidoki, I’m off to eat some homemade leek soup….

I’m terrible at keeping up with my BLOG, and I apologize for that.
There’s been a bunch going on. SCS sang at Tony Romo’s wedding this past weekend. We had a blast! You can read more about it on Jon’s BLOG. The Romo’s are stand up people, and we’re very thankful that we were able to spend their special day with them.
My solo album “The Bed You Made” has been out for a little over a month now. I’m entirely proud of it! Here are a couple reviews for you to read:

The weather is finally starting to warm up here in Nashville, and I’m ridiculously excited about it. I spent most of the day throwing a frisbee with friends and walking the dogs. When the sun went down, I made eggplant parmesan for me and my Valentine. She gave me a much needed haircut after diner. Now I sort of have a crew cut, but it’s more like a 50′s greaser hairdo. I think I like it. So far, it’s been a lovely day.
SCS is starting to book some spotted Spring/Summer dates, but we won’t be in full stride until Fall. I just found out we’re going to be doing a private show in Vegas next month. Look out slot machines!! Actually, if I gamble, I’ll likely play poker or roulette. We’ll have a day off when we’re there, so if anybody knows how I can score tickets to LOVE on March, 30th, I’d give you the high five of all high fives… Does anyone have suggestions for things to do in Vegas other than the obvious (free basing, marrying a stranger, killing a drifter)?
Tiff just made spiced apple ginger Nasoya pockets, and they’re officially out of the oven…. mmmm!
It’s 2:30 AM, and I must bid you farewell… I hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day!

After Sam’s shopping and stocking up the van, which I think is now called Esther ‘The White Buffalo’, Street Corner is off on our first tour. We just crossed into Kentucky and ‘Bass’ has taken over the duties of manhandling the ship.
Richie’s and my younger brother Jonathan has joined us for this run, as Big Jon can’t make it. It’s great getting to sing with both of my brothers, but Jon Mclemore is really really missed. Jon Lister has now been deemed ‘Middle’ Jon. We’re now thinking about changing our group name to “The Jon’s”.
Our first show is tomorrow night in Minneapolis. We’re gonna see how far we get on the road tonight before crashing in some random hotel. We’re hoping to make it to Madison, Wisconsin, but that’s a fairly lofty goal. We shall see…
It’s going to be a great couple of weeks. I leave you with a Kentucky sunset.

Good day to you all…
I’m just outside of Panama City, Florida with some Nashville friends (Keegan Dewitt and Madi Diaz) enjoying an ASCAP sponsored writers retreat called 30A Songwriters Festival. We ran into Rodney Crowell at the airport yesterday, and he was kind enough to give us a ride to the hotel. He’s a remarkable man… His book Chinaberry Sidewalks just came out. I was able to perform with him and Chely Wright last year at the GLAAD awards in San Francisco. That whole trip was a blast!! I’m playing a couple of writers rounds while I’m here. One is tomorrow night around 9 at a place called Caliza. I’m also performing on Sunday at the Seaside Meeting Hall around 9. So far the trip’s been very relaxing and fun. Me and Keegan have been enjoying margaritas all afternoon. Life ain’t too shabby…

SCS is gearing up for the Ben Folds tour. You can check out the dates here: http://benfolds.com/tour.html It’s not going to suck! Hopefully we’ll have some merchandise up and going soon. We’ve almost wrapped up a t-shirt design, and we’ll also have some posters for this run. When we get back we’re going to try to get in the studio. We’ll also have some live recordings for you to hear from our debut show in Nashville at Exit/In.
That’s it for now… I hope all is well your world and that this finds you with a big ole smile on your face.
Cheers!

2011 is looking like it’s going to be a great year. We’re playing our first show after the Sing-Off here in Nashville this Tuesday at the Exit/In. Show 1 starts at 8 PM(sold out) and the other at 10:30 (tickets still available). The Wiffenpoofs are opening the show, and there’s other (secret) special guests that you don’t want to miss. If you can make it, I highly suggest attending.
here’s a link to purchase tickets:

In other news, Street Corner Symphony is about to start working on our first EP. Hopefully it’ll be finished within the next few weeks. We’ll keep you posted.
We’re mastering my solo album “The Bed You Made” now, and it should be released toward the end of February. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it. I’ve been sitting with it for 2 years, and I think it’s the best work I’ve recorded thus far.
Alrighty… I think Richie, Adam and I are about to go unpractice for a while. The other guys get into Nashville tomorrow and we’ll start preparing for world domination.
Cheers!

It’s 7 AM and I just got back to Nashville from Pittsburgh. Even with 3 pups in the back seat, it was a fairly easy drive. Thank you Mother Nature!
Pittsburgh is a great town! I love how everyone there supports local music so much. There’s something good in the water around those parts. A very big thanks to everyone who came out to the Club Cafe.
I can’t tell you how excited I am for our 2 shows in Nashville on January 4th at Exit/In. Everyone is going to freak out when they see the special guests that will be performing with us. It’s looking like we’ll be filming the whole show…. stay tuned.
Okidoke, I need some sleep! I leave you with a live version of my song “The Bed You Made” recorded by my friend Justin Saunders. We did this in his living room a couple of years ago.
Cheerio!

I’m in Pittsburgh for a couple of days, and my friends in the band Bear Cub have invited me to play a couple of tunes at Club Cafe. If you’re in the neighborhood, you should stop by. I think everything kicks off around 8 PM.
In other news, this is my friend Bisou. She received a rather large bone for Christmas.

We’re back in Nashville! I really appreciate the warm welcome from everyone. I’ve spent most of the day catching up on rest, which was certainly lacking in LA. It feels great to be home!
The finale songs were just released on iTunes/Amazon. “Fix You” seems to be doing really well. Everyone should go download the whole episode. Our studio version of “Creep” is now online as well. Also, everyone should check out my solo work. Just search for Jeremy Lister on iTunes or Amazon. My new album “The Bed You Made” should be out soon, but for now I’ve released the first single, “Picturing You”. My solo stuff isn’t a cappella, but hopefully you all will enjoy it. Street Corner is trying to get in the studio ASAP to start on our first album. I cannot friggin wait for this to happen!!
I’m off to 3 Crow to celebrate with some friends.
I’ll leave you with a pic of us in the hot tub ‘unpracticing’.
